Awesome order take out Torta de Azada. Pick up something in the market. Then order too go in restaurant. Waiting wasn't long. But long enough to be really impressed by a really real authentic Mexican restaurant and food market with Baker and I think gift shop. All in one awesome. Great place to at least check out.

My husband and I went to have tortas. I haven't been there in years but it was just as good as I remember. He has the chicken and I had the shredded pork. It arrived at our table so quickly that we didn't really have time to enjoy the chips and salsa. My husband also ordered rice and beans. He said the beans were delicious but the rice was a little dry. The server was quick with the plates and offering refills.it was a large amount of food for a good price.

Very authentic Mexican food. Supermarket next door was very interesting too. We will be back again.

Awesome food sometimes they forget a couple items but always replace Them

Super cheap! Surprisingly, their bulk items are relatively cheap when compared to other places that only sell singles/smaller containers. The bread upkeep is anything but desirable it's been full of flies both times I've visited. Aside from that, so long as you're not getting any bread, it's a pretty neat place. Prices are unbeatable.

Listen, I love the Orquidea. Never have I ever had a problem with them. BUT TODAY, I come from Gadsden, AND I DROVE 40 MINUTES for tacos de al pastor. Yes, it was my fault I did not check But why should I check if they get most of my orders right. I come home and find out they gave me tacos de asada. I still ate it but I was not that satisfied. Thank you though for my tacos.... it was still delicious.

Love the variety. Always have. But when ownership changed a few years ago it went down hill. Needs to be cleaned and needs friendlier employers.

Great place if you like Mexican food. The corn on a stick and the corn soup are great. Good meat prices.

I am eating the restaurant. First time there today. We ordered several different menu items to try. Tacos, burrito, tortas, and quesadillas. All were excellent. Loved the salsa. Prices are very low. Excellent bang for your buck.

Love the Tortas!!! And they have a nicely stocked grocery store next door that has popular groceries from Mexico. Kind of a cool peek inside the Hispanic culture in Marshall County.

Ordered my food on phone at 7:08 night they said 20 min. I get there waited 45 min and I ask them where my food is they said I did not place an order. I proofed to them on my phone I did. So took me 1 hour 20 min to get my food. Very rude people they make me feel like an outsider. Very disappointed. Do not recommend!!!!!

Man, let me tell you. I've lived in Boaz for about 13 years now. La Orquidea in Albertville is about 6 minutes from my house in Boaz. So I've known about La Orquidea for quite some time. It wasn't until about a year ago that I went to eat there and I was so surprised with how much the quality of the food improved. The portions, the flavor, the variety, the freshness. It has improved ten fold since my very first visit. Personally I love tacos de lengua. But you can't go wrong with the huaraches, sopes, quesadillas and many other "antojitos" offered. They also serve plenty of "Tex Mex" options as well. The flavored waters like: Tamarindo, Horchata and Jamaica are always fresh and feel homemade. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this place if you love authentic Mexican cuisine or Tex Mex.

The cleanliness is pretty great inside the restaurant, sometimes the bathroom is a bit dirty, but overall, it's pretty clean. Food is great!

Everything was great, except the steak fajita meat...looked like thin sliced meat, tasted like meat but was too glued together to chew...I had to swallow clumps of chewed meat, that would not separate, until my stomach turned at the thought of it not being true 100% meat heck even 80% meat, I'm game but don't sell me rubber making me think it come from a cow. Steak is a broad word I guess. Not again....it was my first Mexican meal since shutdown. And I'm still hungry after eating the sides that came with it. Yuck...makes me mad my dog gets it....it gets 4 stars cause the hamburger meat tacos were good, the chips n salsa were good, the chicken was good and the torta was good...I was the one that order glue strips apparently. Lost my star.
